The McConnell Foundation is seeking the services of a consultant in order to advance the Foundation’s knowledge and practice of, and commitment to, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), accessibility, anti-racism and intersectionality.
About the Request for Proposals
The Foundation is committed to addressing systemic racism and advancing intersectionality in its funding, hiring and human resources policies and practices, and operations. As such, it has established a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee composed of staff and members of the Board. The Foundation is looking for a lead consultant to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the Foundation in achieving the goals of the JEDI mandate. Key forms of discrimination and inclusion the Foundation is interested in include: disability, gender justice, anti-racism, addressing white privilege, and reconciliation and decolonization.
*Please note that we use EDI in this document for the Foundation’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA) framework.
