Students researched the topic of immigration to Canada between 1608 and 2008 and then created two short films. Through their roles as historians, researchers, script writers, directors, and animators, as well as their engagement with the material, they learned to appreciate and recognize the contributions of immigrants to Canadian society. The two films that the students created were presented to several elementary schools along with a student-generated notebook.
