Student leadership for local food on Ontario’s campuses, 2013-2015, a new report from Foundation grantee Meal Exchange, provides an overview of the organization’s work to support student leadership for local food on Ontario’s campuses between July 2013 and February 2015. During the past 18 months, Meal Exchange has engaged with over 3,000 students at 60 student-led events on five campuses. They have aided in the procurement of local food in five food service contracts with combined food budgets of more than $50 million over five years.
