The National Association of Friendship Centres recently launched Action for Women, a national campaign to end violence against Indigenous women and girls. Action for Women will provide information, resources and support to empower Indigenous women and girls; engage men, families and communities to change behaviours that lead to violence; engage Indigenous and non-Indigenous men across Canada to understand their responsibilities; and work together with new organizations to end violence.
