Join McConnell Foundation to help make a difference in Canada

The McConnell Foundation is currently recruiting a Program Officer to join its team in Montreal on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and a portfolio of grants related to our strategic orientations, including our focus on building a low-carbon economy in Canada.

As a Program Officer, you’ll be part of a small and dynamic team dedicated to promoting positive social and environmental change across Canada. You’ll support granting, investing and convening efforts related to climate change, while also liaising with McConnell staff and outside partners that are working on other issue areas. The overriding goal is supporting a more inclusive, sustainable and resilient Canada through social innovation.

Why should you apply?

This is an opportunity to become involved with ongoing efforts to address some of Canada’s toughest challenges — climate change, inequality, reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. You’ll gain a national perspective on social change in this country, and also have the opportunity to develop connections at a local level while engaging with social innovators from across Canada and overseas grappling with similar issues.

Fluency in written and spoken French is required; a solid grasp of English is also important.

Application deadline: September 4, 11:59pm
