YWCA Montreal

Background of the organization

The YWCA Montreal provides services to women, girls and their families so they can participate in and contribute to society to the best of their abilities. The YWCA also works with community stakeholders in order to focus attention on issues of exclusion, social inequality and gender as well as all forms of violence against women and girls. 

Project description

The YWCA received capital campaign support through the Foundation’s Montreal funding stream. McConnell funding will be used to implement a digital and interactive transformation at the Y that will enable the organization to adapt the Y’s current structure to address emerging needs for decades to come.
