About the organization

La tablée des chefs is a charitable organization founded by Jean-François Archambault in 2002. La tablée promotes healthy eating habits through its Brigades culinaires program, which brings chefs into schools to teach culinary skills to students aged 12-17, through a series of workshops. The organization also addresses food insecurity and waste: its Food Recovery Service collects cooked meals from hotels, restaurants and other institutions and redistributes them to people in need.

Grant Description:

This grant will support the expansion of Les brigades culinaires to 20 schools outside of Quebec.. This expansion project will enable La tablée des chefs to adapt its program and strengthen partnerships with funders in other provinces.
