First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission

Background of the organization

Founded in 2000, the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission supports and accompanies organizations and First Nations working on community economic development.

Project description

There is substantial need for ongoing, personalized assistance in financial and housing literacy so First Nations can better access capital from other economic resources. This project will deploy an Indigenous-led mobile engagement team offering financial and housing literacy training and personalized follow-up.
