Background of the organization

The First Nations – Municipal Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI) improves economic prosperity through joint community economic development planning and initiatives between First Nations and municipalities. CEDI is a joint initiative of the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers (CANDO) and Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). 

 

Project description

McConnell funds will help create a sustainable and collaborative funding model, scale the CEDI program to other regions, and initiate a community of practice.
