Background of the organization

The Maison de l’innovation sociale (MIS) is an important player in Québec’s social innovation ecosystem. It contributes to the emergence and development of projects with a strong positive social impact, among citizen collectives and government organizations, universities and the entrepreneurial community. Through its activities and programs developed and led by its experienced and committed team, MIS meets the needs of a variety of socio-economic actors in the implementation of their projects with social and environmental impact, from their ideation to their deployment. 

 

Project description

Funding will be used for two main objectives:  

(1) Ensure the core delivery of three programs: R&D, cohort support and strategic coaching, and  

(2) Ensure the scaling to a Quebec-wide approach.
