Project description

Funding will serve to track and publicly report climate policy activities of selected large Canadian emitters in the oil and gas, utilities, mining, agriculture and food, transportation, industrial materials and consumer goods sectors. With Climate Engagement Canada, Influence Map will engage with targeted Canadian corporations and investors to change their climate policy engagement practices. It will assess the lending and underwriting activities, asset management stewardship and portfolios of Canada’s five largest banks and coherence with banks’ net zero carbon commitments and publish a scorecard.
