Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund

Background of Organization

Indigenous-led, the Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund (IPRF) regrants funding in response to current community needs, and is also creating a “Legacy Fund” to help meet the needs of future generations. The IPRF funds projects in food security, cultural and mental health, and digital accessibility. Their work is governed by a 10-member Indigenous Advisory Council, including current McConnell Reconciliation Program Director Brian Jackson.

Project Description

The IPRF is in the early stages of creating the “Legacy Fund”. Foundation funding will support salaries of core staff, business plan development, and the creation of communications and marketing plans.
