Project description

JeRénovÉco is a financing and support program for homeowners that makes retrofitting simple and affordable. Based on the PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) model, it consists of issuing an accessible loan that is repayable, in part or in full, from energy savings and property taxes. JeRénoveÉco will deliver the program to all interested municipalities in Quebec. The goal of the project is to decarbonize the residential sector by electrifying systems, making retrofits accessible and offering a financial solution for low-income populations through an innovative financial model.
