Community Campus Engage Canada

Background of Organization

Community Campus Engage Canada (CCEC) was formed in 2019 as a national initiative hosted by the Trent Centre for Community-Based Education. Through consultation across the country, CCEC has established a national network of practitioners, and is now working on creating structures to sustain this national-scale movement.

Project Description

CCEC will pursue three key objectives: 1) Develop an organizational sustainability strategy and business plan; 2) Cultivate new partnerships and projects; and 3) Strengthen a diverse and inclusive Community of Practice to support community-engagement practitioners and community-based organizations. McConnell funding will allow CCEC to be more self-sustaining and responsive to changing sector needs. The organization will be able to create a role focused on program delivery.
