Common Approach to Impact Measurement

Background of the organization

Common Approach to Impact Measurement is a community-driven initiative. It works towards flexible, shareable impact measurement for social purpose organizations. By developing flexible, community-driven standards, our aim is to change the underpinnings of impact measurement. The initiative is committed to centering impact measurement on the needs of operating charities, nonprofits and social-purpose businesses and those they serve rather than foundations, grantmakers and impact investors. The Common Approach is four community-driven standards: Common FoundationsCommon Impact Data StandardCommon Form and Common Framework

Project description

Funding will contribute to the initiative’s Pathfinder Pilotsupporting testing of the impact measurement standards with an additional network – the Community Lending Network. This network of microlenders centers the voices of BIPOC-led organizations seeking capital. It will strengthen the Common Approach’s work with inputs from equity-deserving groups.
