Affordability Action Council

Background of the organization 

The Climate and Affordability Task Force is composed of housing, food security, energy, climate experts and organizations representing individuals with lived experience of income insecurity. Their work is supported by the Institute for Research on Public Policy. 

Project description 

Funding will contribute to develop federal policy recommendations to support low-income Canadians to reduce their carbon emissions and be more resilient to climate. It will demonstrate that tackling climate can also make life more affordable for Canadians.
