Tyze is an online personal network that supports people experiencing life challenges. As a private, secure network, it can be used by health professionals along with family and friends to provide life-enhancing and cost effective personal support.
While the Foundation supports the social purpose that Tyze addresses, it needed recourse to a social finance strategy to provide financial support to the initiative.
The Foundation has provided a no-interest loan to a related charity, the PLAN Institute, so it can invest in Tyze. It has also worked with Tyze to create the Belonging Fund, which will make grants to health charities that wish to offer Tyze networks to their patients or members.
