Grant Description

Dene Nahjo’s grant will be used to employ a Strategic Engagement Catalyst (SEC). The SEC will work on communications, fundraising, and research partnerships. With this additional support, Dene Nahjo can focus on expanding and delivering community-led, culturally grounded programming. These programs include hide tanning and mentorship camps, Indigenous women’s rites of passage gatherings and Indigenous leadership workshops that facilitate discussions on critical issues like colonization, reconciliation and cultural resurgence.
